New Depp and Depp Platinum Warranty

The cars sold have a 2 year or 100,000 km warranty that covers all devices, joints, exterior body kit, paintwork coating, interior, electrics and electronics, additional options.

During this time, any defects will be fixed, and spare parts replaced in case they went out of order due to low quality materials or improper manufacturing techniques.

The warranty applies to the first and any following owners of the vehicle during the two years after the date of purchase on the territory of Russian Federation (including individuals who are renting or leasing the vehicle).

The Depp-A.T. warranty exclusively covers the original spare parts and accessories installed at the factory or during the modification of the vehicle. It excludes however useable parts and materials, that are employed for planned repairs and modifications. Parts that undergo wear and tear (windshield wipers, brake discs and pads, filters) are covered by a limited warranty.

The warranty does not cover parts in use during vehicles operation, and faults that occurred during storage or use, not caused by Depp-A.T. The warranty is lifted in case:

- the vehicle or its parts have been altered without permission from Depp-A.T.

- the vehicle has undergone repairs at companies not certified by Depp-A.T.

- spare parts with no permission from Depp-A.T. have been used

- operating instructions have not been followed or the vehicle has been overstressed

Warranty on Spare Parts and Accessories

Spare parts and accessories (except for wear and tear), sold and intalled by a Depp-A.T. Service Center have a 1 year guarantee which is valid from the date of payment or order of a spare part to be installed.

Warranty on Servicing

According to the law, the specialised servicing center of Depp-A.T. carries full responsibility for the quality of service, as well as for the safety and security of vehicles taken in for servicing. Warranty on servicing means the removal of any defects that had surfaced during an agreed time since the last service, at no cost. The customer may complain about the quality or quantity of service works within 6 months. This warranty does not cover diagnostic or adjustment works.

Terms of Granting Warranty

Service booklet with the date and place of vehicle sale must be presented, along with stamps of Depp-A.T. certified organizations. The vehicle must be serviced at regular time or mileage intervals at official regional dealers of Chevrolet Express or Depp-A.T. certified organizations. Following the instructions given by Depp-A.T. specialists and those of the instruction manuals.

 

Warranty for a bew Chevrolet Express, GMS Savana база 1500/2500/3500 RWD, AWD

New vehicles produced and modified in US or Canada are covered by a worldwide warranty of two years with no mileage limitations.

Explanation by General Motors on the warranty of Chevrolet Express - GMC Savana

General Motors offers a worlwide removal of production or material defects free if charge on vehicles produced in North America, however these obligations are performed in Russia as good will and thus carries certain exceptions:

Chevrolet Express - GMC Savana manufactured for the North American or export markets (Europe, Middle East), that have not been modified for localization purposes are covered by the program of global obligations (hence - "obligations") of the manufacturer to remove any defects of production or materials. 

The obligations become valid on the date of the first sale of a Chevrolet Express - GMC Savana in the US or Canada, as mentioned in the GM VIS (unless special terms mentioned in the GM VIS - especially in the Warranty Block section).

The above obligations do not apply to parts or devices specific to the market for which the vehicle was manufactured (see Appendix).

A valid GM CIS service booklet is a requirement for the obligations to take effect. The mileage of the vehicle at the time of arrival at the dealer for the service booklet to be handed out (and the vehicle being eligible for the General Motors obligation program) must not exceed 2000 km. In case the odometer of the vehicle reads more than 2000 km or 1200 mi, that particular vehicles is excluded from the program. With the vehicle's arrival at the dealer, a payed service preparation is performed (the list of works - standard PDI for NAO, detailed in the SI documents), and any defects discovered are also removed. After this the obligations based on good will take effect on the terriotry of Russia, and a Chevrolet Express service booklet is distributed. The remaining obligations are performed according to rules and regulations valid for NAO in Russia.

In case a vehicle has a motor oil service monitoring system, the service booklet must have a mention, and the customer's agreement (as validated by a signature) that the service interval for motor oil is 15 000 km (9 000 mi) or 365 days, which ever comes first, regardless of the message of the monitoring system.

Appendix:

An approximate list of parts and devices of basic vehicles as well as Chevrolet Express Starcraft, GMC Savan Starcraft, Chevrolet Express Conversion Van, Chevrolet Express Explorer Van, modified, tuned and not meant for use in Russia (including, but not limited to): - "ONSTAR", digital radio, a TV tuner of a standard not common in Russia; additional devices installed not at GM, including TV/video/audio devices, non-factory seats, adjustable couches, carpets, upholstery and decorative elements of the cabin additionally installed; non-factory electrics of the interior, modified exterior (bumpers, body, roof), panorama windows, chrome, non-factory wheel discs bigger than R17, power transmission, diesel engine including the fuel system and its control; - hybrid power station.

All of the above options are currently not designed for the Russian market.
